We are looking for a part-time contractor to join the Sponsorship Sales Team at EEG! This role is a great opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys following a trade show from conception to completion. Be a part of the team that reaches out to potential sponsors and exhibitors and closes the sale to make both our clients and their sponsorship programs a success. Sales prowess, project ownership and strong client/sponsor/exhibitor interaction skills absolutely crucial.
Qualified candidate will ideally possess a sales, sponsorship and trade show background in order to oversee all aspects of sponsor and exhibitor sales. Ideal candidate will be a sales and marketing professional who is experienced in working with a wide range of companies and their marketing personnel. Up until the signing of a contract to sponsor/exhibit, candidate will serve as the primary liaison between sponsor/exhibitor, the EEG sponsorship team, the client and their trade show.
Position will support our clients in exhibition floor sales and all related sponsorship and marketing/promotional opportunities. Candidates must be comfortable contacting potential sponsors, selling packages and closing deals. A background developing sponsorship packages preferred, but not essential. Candidate with little sponsorship or tradeshow experience, but with a strong sales and marketing background, can be successful in this role if they possess a deft ability to learn quickly.

Acting as a client liaison, responsible for overseeing all sales communication with client, sponsor/exhibitors and any applicable third party vendors
Distribution of client prospectus to potential sponsors and exhibitors via email, mail or web
Outbound and inbound phone calls and telemarketing, to include cold calling, to promote sales
Internal web support in the creation of web pages promoting sponsorship and sponsors
Contract administration and responsibility for getting contract counter-signed by client
Support collection of contracted sponsor/exhibitor revenue, if required
Developing, maintaining, tracking and reporting sales and sales activity to clients and the EEG team
Leading or participating in all external client and internal meetings as required
Scheduling and leading meetings and sales calls with potential sponsors/exhibitors, to include travel to company’s location if necessary/possible
Develop and maintain sponsor/exhibitor relationships to promote future sales and instill loyalty for client’s program
Develop, orchestrate and implement Letter of Intent/Interest programs for client as required
Advise and support the development of sponsorship and exhibitor packages with the EEG sponsorship team
Become a member and participate in applicable trade and industry organizations (through EEG)
Support the Sponsor Management team as required, to include occasional project/sponsor management.
Oversee complete on-site program/tradeshow operation to include LOI implementation, as needed by client (travel required)
Other duties as assigned by Account Director or Managing Director, as required
3 to 5 years of Sponsorship Sales Experience
Experience interacting with sponsors and selling sponsorship packages to qualified leads
Exceptional communication skills including impeccable social aptitude and ability to instill confidence to internal and external clients
Strong leadership ability and effectiveness in working with diverse teams
Computer skills to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Software and similar applications
College degree preferred
