The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine aims to provide optimum state-of-the-art care for critically ill and recovering neonates and infants. We are dedicated to the School of Medicine's mission of advancing and exploring innovative and novel biomedical, translational, and clinical research and education through the nurturing stimulation of interactions among basic and clinical scientists, clinicians, and educators throughout the School of Medicine and University, as well as with the private and public sectors. A component of the Division is the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC).
CMQCC has as its' mission to transform maternity care in California by defining, disseminating and implementing clinical best practices and quality improvement principles and techniques, and by providing, rapid cycle data, quality improvement tools and strategies for clinicians to improve the outcomes for pregnant women.
The CMQCC Program Manager (ASA1) will work collaboratively with CMQCC leadership and staff to insure success of the CA Birth Equity Collaborative, a quality improvement initiative to improve birth care, experiences and outcomes for, by and with Black mothers and birthing people in California. and other projects as assigned. The Program Manager will help meet CMQCC's mission by fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with the Birth Equity Leadership team and Coordinating Group
Maintain project plan - track deliverables, identify risks and propose risk mitigation strategies
Facilitiate team meetings, working with leadership group to prepare agendas and assign action items
Manage honorarium payments notifying program assistant when payments are to be made
Support participants to ensure reimbursements are process by program assistant in a timely manner and that all Stanford financial policies are adhered to
Coordinate resource and other content management as well as draft progress reports to funder
Facilitate communication between and across work group leaders and members with coordinating body and executive leadership

Master's degree with an emphasis on healthcare preferred.
At least 3 years of experience with healthcare.
Experience managing complex projects.
Strong project management experience.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of birth equity for diverse populations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
