Assists the leadership team with assessment, planning, organizing, and facilitating a broad range of employee development and training programs in accordance with strategic plans, organizational objectives & regulations. Helps to drive patient satisfaction & employee engagement initiatives.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Ability to assess needs related to organizational practices, procedures, computer systems, and produce training programs and materials to target these needs.
Ability to effectively direct participants while in a training class environment and ability to properly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material.
Demonstrates initiative, motivation, creativity, project management, and research skills with attention to detail.
Must be able to react positively to change, promote organizational change initiatives, and effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel or similar programs.
Minimum 1year related work experience required.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Certified as a C.H.E.S.T. (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician) by the Association for the Healthcare Environment of the American Hospital Association required within 18 months of their start date, if not already certified.
Certified as a C.H.E.S.P. (Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional) by the Association for the Healthcare Environment of the American Hospital Association preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office, clinical or classroom environment.
Requires ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., carry and push carts from 100 lbs. to 500 lbs. when performing duties. Works under a variety of temperature conditions. May involve transporting items outside of buildings in all weather conditions.
Requires work hours / schedule flexibility to perform related job duties on various shifts.
Travel within the health system is required for meetings and training functions.
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a safe driving record required.
