Leads and oversees the AML Risk, Global Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program for AML, in alignment with the Global Compliance Enterprise RCM Program. Responsible for ensuring enterprise strategies, plans and initiatives are developed, documented and maintained in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures in order to drive out an effective RCM Program and accompanying tools. Part of the AML Risk, Global Policy & Standards team (GPS), the Director, AML RCM Program is responsible for developing and maintaining the Bank's enterprise policies and standards linked to the Global AML RCM Program (the "RCM Program" or the "Program").
The Director, Global AML RCM Program will collaborate closely with Business Line CAMLO teams on the design and implementation of the Program.
Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Responsible for leading and overseeing the overall AML Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program from a strategic perspective and overall program quality
Responsible for ensuring all business and compliance objectives are defined and addressed by the program
Ensures program scope aligns to defined objectives
Ensures that all active projects within the Program have up-to-date project plans and schedules, and monitors overall progress of the Program under the oversight of the Enterprise Program Management Office
Drives stakeholder management and alignment
Ensures unresolved issues or matters are escalated to the Executive Sponsors
Provides guidance and leadership to steer program teams towards the vision of the program
Assumes responsibility for ongoing communication and interface with Program stakeholders and ensures timely reporting of status and escalation of issues to the senior stakeholders and executives
Reviews any required changes to scope/deliverables, schedules, resources and budgets, and ensures changes are evaluated at the Program level, as well as Bank wide, and follows proper Change Management Process. Escalates issues as required to the VP AML Risk, Global Policy & Standards
Assumes responsibility for Program risk mitigation and ensures appropriate actions to remediate risks are exercised as required
Responsible for the day to day leadership of the AML RCM team (3-5 people), and for managing potential changing priorities within the program
Stays abreast of emerging regulation in Canada and the regions to identify developments and issues that may have an impact on the RCM Program.
Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Solid understanding of regulatory compliance matters and experience building an RCM Program preferred
Prior exposure to a control environment in risk management, compliance, or audit
Working knowledge of business environment supported by a strong understanding of policy and regulations
Project Management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
People management experience and leadership skills
Education / Experience
Undergraduate Degree in business administration, finance with an understanding of quantitative methods
ACAMS Designation or equivalent
7 - 10 years of related AML or general Compliance experience
