JOB SUMMARY: The Slate CRM Specialist is responsible for the implementation and management of the Division's Customer Relationship Management System (Technolutions Slate). This position serves as the lead for the College's Slate build-out and implementation, as well as its ongoing development and maintenance. The Slate CRM Specialist is responsible for coordinating with the undergraduate and graduate admissions teams to execute all recruitment and admissions solutions through Slate, including but not limited to process, work.flow, and communications designed to enroll talented and diverse undergraduate and graduate students. The Slate CRM Specialist will also collaborate with marketing and other campus partners to implement marketing and communication best practices focused on recruitment and enhancing the customer (student) experience. In addition, the Slate CRM Specialist will develop and maintain Lasell's ability to utilize the data within the CRM for effective analysis and market research. The Slate CRM Specialists will also be responsible for creating, launching and monitoring work-flows from the planning stage through campaign launch, targeting multiple prospective student and constituent audiences using multi-channel communication (digital, print, email, text, and phone), as well as tracking all interactions and audience behavior. The Slate CRM Specialist will also implement admission business processes within the CRM including custom work space design, form building, travel management, applicant portal functionality, and application review processes. The Slate CRM Specialist is the lead on-campus trainer and will provide functional support services for (Technolutions Slate), as well as support reporting and analysis of the communications and business processes within the CRM.
This position reports to the Director of Admission.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements below are intended to describe the principal duties of the person or persons assigned to this job. 1. Lead Slate system development , implementation , and maintenance; and guide and direct staff in its effective use. 2. Create and build infrastructure; as well as system integration with other campus applications 3. Collaborate with the Information Technology Team to maintain and develop necessary functionality and bridges to other college systems and databases, such as PowerFAIDS and PowerCampus. 4. Collaborate with the Slate Solution Architect and campus stakeholders to fully implement existing and new Slate functionalities. 5. Build event registration pages and forms ensuring that all data correctly writes the back to the CRM database. 6. Implement marketing campaigns for numerous audience segments in support of institutional recruitment strategies. 7. Review and update data through imports and exports. 8. Research and reconcile data discrepancies. 9. Respond to and troubleshoot CRM user, administrator and system issues. 10. Satisfy data institutional needs used in integration, queries, planning, analysis and marketing. 11. Manage projects from start to completion to support department/institutional goals - by creating timelines, trafficking projects and workflow, and maintaining project documentation for Slate implementation.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB: Minimum Education level: Bachelor 's degree required, Master's preferred.
Other Requirements of the Job: • 1-3 years of professional experience in data or CRM systems • Previous work experience in higher education preferred • Proven ability to organize, manage and meet goals/project deliverables • Exemplary written and communication skills • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently as well as manage a small team of internal stakeholders
