Power and/or cooling systems controls for thermal / cooling in controlled environments; i.e. -- data centers, cleanrooms, labs, etc.
As a Product Engineer / Porrect Manage, your primary duty is to collaborate with client's Data Center Operations ("DC Ops") and client's numerous Design Engineering teams to develop data center thermal control system designs. This will include:
New technology insertions through collaboration with the core engineering teams during product development.
Creating system level concepts and schematic designs.
Push these designs through client's internal processes from concept to detailed designs, while ensuring client's performance expectations are met.
Responsible for developing and determining the controls system architecture, sequence of operations ("SOOs") and integration of new and existing systems
Project managing outside vendors / integrators on project/product requirements and deliverables
1. Fancoil controller hardware and software for 2 nd source fan support. Manage
all external integrators to develop, test, and validate new PLC
("Programmable Logic Controllers") hardware and software for existing data
center server floor cooling equipment. This includes
Work with internal teams to fully understand the existing system, and work with the integrator to create and execute on a plan.
Coordinate with onsite datacenter personal to test and roll out the new designs.
2. Fancoil controller software request management
Similar as above except on software features on an existing PLC controller.
3. Manager Server floor cooling equipment generalized test plans
Develop generalized test plans and automated scripts (when applicable) for existing and future data center server floor equipment
Factory acceptance test development
Process workflows and documentation
Assist internal teams with formalizing process workflows and documentation.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Minimum (6) six years of related experience and/or training.
Prior experience in a supervisory position (direct report responsibilities) required if specific duties include direct report responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
