This position will be filled at the intermediate salary range of $57,692 - $71,000 as the primary goal. The requirements listed below reflect the intermediate level expectation. However, applicants with lesser experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the primary goal is not met. Lesser experienced candidates will be reviewed at an associate level salary range of $47,476 - $59,000.
The individual selected in the role of IT Product Development Analyst Intermediate provides support to the PMO team. Assignments include support for the development of PMO business process, PMO data reporting, and PMO systems solutions. Work includes assignments within multiple IT service areas, platforms, integrations, and cross-functional areas. Contributes to service improvement & product development projects. Performs some project management, including resource and time estimates. Builds customer relationships through active listening and frequent communication with customers and by resolving incidents and requests, following up with customers on incidents escalated to other support groups. Collaborates with stakeholders, customers, team members and other technical staff to design, implement, and continuously improve services and deliverables to meet business needs. The position will report to the Project Management Office (PMO) Director within the ITS Project Management Office.

Supports the PMO Operations team in the elevation of the organization’s IT service processes, methodology, and maturity. Collects, interprets, and uses data to understand requirements and testing needs, and develops proposals and solutions for Project Management Office (PMO) processes and systems. Utilizes business process mapping to define current and future state processes and develop workflow models.
Contributes to Project Management Office (PMO) service improvement projects by identifying and quantifying customer requirements, delineating the gaps between customer requirements and the capabilities of existing technology and resources, and recommending proactive improvements.
Collaborates with stakeholders, customers, and application developers to define business needs, review modification requests, and develop solutions that balance requirements and risk, maintainability, and total cost of ownership/cost benefit analysis. Studies and develops a comprehensive understanding of assigned products and business areas.
Provides daily operations and support for PMO applications. Actively coordinates with team members, service support groups, and vendors to effectively resolve incidents and requests. Follows up with customers on incidents and requests. Provides end-user support to encourage product adoption.
Create and maintain PMO knowledge documentation.
Provides basic project management duties to relevant PMO projects.
Adheres to service management methodology, process and tools.
Stays current with relevant advances in technologies.
Provides ongoing support for the ITS Capital Request Process by working closely with various ITS groups.

Bachelors degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience in a related role requiring confidentiality, timeliness, customer service, organization, prioritization, troubleshooting, and working independently to successfully conduct systems and process analysis, design, and testing.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
Demonstrated skills in business systems analysis, design, reporting, system testing, and gathering, translating, prioritizing, and documenting system requirements.
Demonstrated skills in data reporting, analysis and process modeling tools and techniques.
Demonstrated proficiency with current computer technology and applications (e.g. Business Process Mapping software, word processing, spreadsheet, and collaboration applications).
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, correctly, knowledgeably, respectfully, timely and effectively, verbally and in writing, face to face and in front of a group of teams.
Experience in a PMO organization
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and/or ITIL processes and methodologies
Experience with Planview or equivalent project management, resource management tool
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is required
Must be able to remain stationary for a normal period of time, routinely moves throughout an office environment, and the ability to conduct a normal amount of work at a computer
