Either a Part-Qualified or Fully-Qualified candidate (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with regulatory reporting experience from a banking environment
Well-rounded skill-set and ability to learn or cover the following (doesn't have to have everything below):
Large Exposure reporting experience
COR 2 and COR 5 would be ideal
PRA and EBA returns
Statutory Reporting to the Bank of England
Any work that interprets regulatory policy
Pillar 3 Disclosures
Someone who can answer and speak with clarity and self-confidence. Good stakeholder management experience
Ability to oversee work and mentor 2 interns in the department
About the role:
The role is responsible for the prudential regulatory reporting outputs for the Bank to the UK Regulators from Finance. This includes COREP, Liquidity Submissions, Pillar 3, Bank of England Statistical Returns. The role is responsible for ensure regulatory interpretation and policy for these returns and associated information are in place and up to date.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Direct responsibility for the Bank's's pillar 3 disclosures document, policy and regulatory rules application oversight. This covers the Bank's legal requirement under the CRR to disclose.
Direct responsibility for all London operation's regulatory reporting, oversight and management. Includes ensuring the branch satisfies its regulatory obligations and performs a key role for the relevant branch.
Direct management of regulatory analyst interns, separately responsible for daily liquidity reporting (regulatory obligations) and EUC management, MI dashboard & policy control (regulatory control and governance requirements)
Key input into New Products developments for Regulatory Reporting to ensure compliance with external regulations
Key testing of regulatory change / upgrades of regulatory software to ensure accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reports in line with regulator priorities
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Part-Qualified or Fully-Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with regulatory reporting experience from the banking sector
Knowledge of statistical, prudential and risk reporting requirements.
Key project management / organisational disciplines for managing pillar 3 and other responsibilities requiring significant oversight and control
Industry experience in working for a comparable wholesale, corporate, investment banking institution
Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information
Proven ability to work with large amounts of financial and risk data
Experience in delivering financial or risk reports under pressure without compromising on accuracy and attention to detail
Proven experience in condensing complex risk and financial data into reports for senior management consumption
