The University of Southern California, Gould School of Law seeks a full-time Academic Programs Administrator to join its team.

Reporting to the Associate Dean & Chief Programs Officer, the Academic Program Administrator serves to provide support for all aspects of administration and logistical details for the Gould School of Lawâs Graduate & International Programs. Requires strong organizational, and analytical skills, including project management, data analysis, and implementation/evaluations skills.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Primary role is to support the administrative functions for the Associate Dean on curriculum design and delivery for both residential and online programs
Serves as a liaison on program implementation for the Law School
Expected to thoroughly learn and understand institutional policies and procedures, and the curricular goals and standards of all non-JD academic programs
Provides research and information to senior leaders to review, recommend, and help implement policies regarding admissions, registration, and records. Work closely with faculty and staff, as well as the Office of Student Affairs offices to facilitate the smooth creation and implementation of new programs.
Writing and assembling materials for approvals of new academic programs and submitting them to the American Bar Association and central University
Prepares bi-weekly financial reports for senior leadership, tracking growth of programs; Contribute to program budget development and projections
Edits and composes documents for communication to internal and external audiences
Bachelor's degree in education, communication or related field
2-3 years relevant experience in curriculum and/or program development
Prior experience in a higher education setting
Advanced technical and computer skills to support administrative functions including MS Office Suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel and database skills, electronic calendar management, various videoconferencing applications such as Zoom, Skype, and email applications
Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with demanding time-frames
Excellent writing skills
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills using sound judgment within policy parameters
Provides high quality customer service orientation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff; both verbally and in writing, with excellent editing and proofreading ability
Strong ability to work independently and as a team member
