Under direct supervision, the Solutions Analyst is responsible for a broad range of tasks on projects, including Project Management and Business Analysis. Active project team member for the onboarding of customers to OCIO managed IT Services. Responsible for understanding business needs and collaborating with technology stakeholders to deliver high quality, technology based, business solutions. Will apply knowledge of business process analysis and design to solve customer needs. Partners with members of the IT organization to develop process improvements that result in more streamlined and effective project processes.
The Solutions Analyst will interact with a wide range of colleagues from academic leads to hands-on technology and business professionals across the university. Conducts customer-focused technical discovery, provides hands-on support of end users to migrate file shares to new environment, and documents and analyzes current business processes and underlying systems/applications. Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; two years of experience documenting and implementing requirements and design of business processes and/or technical solutions in an IT Infrastructure or Applications Development environment; must have the ability to effectively communicate detail technical information to the average business user in a concise manner; demonstrated respect for customers and ability to operate within a culture founded in Trust, Respect, Innovation, and Partnership.
Technical background with strong written and verbal communications skills; customer focused with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions; 3-5 years of business analysis and/or project management experience managing complex infrastructure, application development or software implementation projects; exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills; ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts; ability to self-manage and appropriately prioritize tasks.
Target Salary: $56,032.00 - $68,483.00 Annually
