Summary: TheManager, Epic Data Integration directs the tactical and operationaldevelopment, implementation, and support of data integration, interfaces, anddata integration automation solutions within the Epic environment andassociated third party applications. The manager is responsible forthe professional development of staff. The manager is responsiblefor setting priorities, resource management, scheduling and technical directionfor proposed and operationalized integrated solutions. Participates inbudgeting and short and long term planning. Monitors allproduction interface and integration outages and the restoration ofoperationalized services. Responsible for building and maintainingcustomer relationships that can be leveraged to support the enterpriseobjectives. Responsible for resolving issues, meeting scheduledmilestones, and providing status and feedback in a timelymanner. Supports the enterprise business goals and manages the diversityof needs and constraints prioritizing resources to best fit the overallbusiness strategy for the enterprise. Works with the Director ofData Management to lead and promote within the department to help standardizework processes and understand department capacity and promote innovation in allaspects of the team's work. Will also ensure all data integration systemsenhance and safeguard proprietary patient, family and employee confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in information technologyrequired.
Minimum of 3 years in a management, supervisory or leadposition required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Careenvironment preferred.
Epic Bridges certification highly preferred.
Epic certification is required within 6 months from offer,including 2 test retakes.
Knowledge andExperience: Experience with HL7 developmentplatforms: Corepoint, Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody. Experienceprogramming in C#, SQL or equivalent programminglanguages. Experience overseeing the design, development, andimplementation of data integration solutions, systems, orproducts. Knowledge of CDA, CCD and CCDA. Knowledge of FHIRand RESTful web services. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, utilizationof new technologies, solutions and resource management. Excellent interpersonal,written, and oral communication skills. Experience in operations,database administration, interface engines, integration strategies andmethodologies, interoperability applications and system programming andadministration. Knowledge of software and systems development lifecycle. Experience with project management. Highlyself-motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and executetasks while under pressure. Strong customer service orientation.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
