JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will support the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with the Harris Health System strategic plan. The Project Manager will support the VP, System Strategic Operations in ensuring the strategic initiatives are implemented systemwide in a consistent, timely, and uniform manner in an effort to transform the Health System. The Project Manager will work with key leadership, staff and providers across the Health System to achieve results.
1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree required; Master?s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): Three years of project management, strategic planning, or operational analytical experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment. Six Sigma green or black belt or PMP preferred.
Project Manager Professional Certification and Six Sigma Green Belt may substitute for 1 year work experience; Master?s Degree and Six Sigma Black Belt may substitute for 2 years work experience
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): Three years of management experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting.
4. Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment.
