The Sr. Analyst, Patient Support & Channel Insights is responsible for ensuring that Patient Support & Channel insights and data are complete, accurate, consistent and fit-for-use by compliance and quality standards. Activity is centered in the traditional data quality and data management domains and also has responsibility for creating and managing Specialty Pharmacy reports. This position will report to the Associate Director, Patient Support Digital Solutions.
Responsibilities: Implement and manage trade & Specialty Pharmacy Provider (SPP) contracts, by analyzing and monitoring data to maintain optimal inventory levels Identify appropriate metrics and tracking to ensure compliant execution; analyze procedure volume, trends, growth, for each channel Ensure SPP data structures meet business needs. Manage the SPP/OPS (Otsuka Patient Support) business-oriented data quality program as well as program changes Proactively intervene with data sources to solve data problems Manage data feeds from various sources including but not limited to 3PL portal, EDI data through ValueTrak, SPP contracts with Prometrics and execute appropriate action plans to mitigate risk Support internal reporting by analyzing data from weekly trade reports, monthly management reports, and others as identified Monitor and track all sales and inventory movement within the trade channels Collaborate with pricing, contracting and compliance to ensure all wholesaler/SPP contracts and fee for service agreements are compliant with government regulations
Requirements: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited four-year college or university (or the equivalent if education obtained outside of the United States) At least 1-2 years direct experience with pharmaceutical data and data management with an emphasis on specialty pharmacy and patient support program data Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical lifecycle and the data points derived from that, specifically specialty pharmacy and patient services data Understands the basic principles of data governance and date stewardship (data quality) Knowledge of and/or experience in pharmaceuticals operations; understands how data is applied in a pharmaceutical operations context Ability to translate business needs into data requirement Understands the basic principles of data management and pharmaceutical data processing Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate the data management subject matter to a non-technical/unfamiliar internal customer
