The Haslam College of Business at The University of Tennessee is seeking an Administrative Specialist I for its Graduate and Executive Education (GEE) programs. This is a non-exempt, 12-month, full-time, staff position. The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Specialist I position include, but are not limited to, providing day-to-day operational and data management support for Graduate & Executive Education programming in the Haslam College of Business. This position assists with for individual and group registrations in open enrollment & custom executive education courses & related administrative/financial processes. Responsible for maintaining data integrity in a customer relationship management environment, reporting from the CRM, providing technical (CRM & IT) and administrative support as needed. To accomplish this, the Administrative Support Assistant I will need to work effectively with other members of the technology team, members of the Financial Information Office, as well as in cross-functional teams, providing a very high level of customer service and satisfaction to both internal and external constituents. The individual will need to be a strong team players while also being an individual self-starter and should have the ability to work multiple projects at the same time. Must have a strong attention to detail; commitment to customer service; adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to communicate with many different types of people, including executives, faculty, staff, students, and corporate customers. Candidates should also have excellent organizational ability, project management skills, and oral and written communication skills. Position will require occasional work on evenings and weekends when classes are in residence. Successful candidates will also have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the department and the University.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Operational Support - Registration: *Assist with registration of open and custom non-degree executive education courses. *Work with the GEE program leadership and coordination teams in the successful management of registration. *Collaborate with the college financial information office to ensure the integration of payment data into necessary systems. *Collaborate with GEE event and program teams to provide excellent customer service, throughout the registration and course delivery process. Data Management: *Responsible for data clean up and data integrity of existing and new customers and leads. *Responsible for generating reports, views/dashboards for staff, based on their needs. *Assist staff with their CRM business needs and provide technical assistance with CRM related activities. *Work with various stakeholders and users on the continuous improvement of the CRM functionality. *Serve as the lead for data management of prospective students and participants.
IT Support: *Support primary IT staff with technology needs/tasks during GEE course deliveries. *Support Faculty, Staff and Students with various technology/IT tasks as needed.
