We are searching for a Senior Academic Coordinator to join our team in support of the planning and delivery of programming for our part-time MBA students and part-time online Master of Science in Business Analytics students. This is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in an interesting and challenging work environment. The majority of our students are taking classes online and live outside of the Pittsburgh area but come to campus (or other locations) for several weekend programs per year. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a world-class experience during these events, as well as supporting the overall operation of the program.
Core responsibilities will include:
Supporting students through seamless delivery of curricular and extra-curricular activities by anticipating their needs and responding to requests in a timely and professional manner.
Supporting overall program management to include student communication, new student on-boarding and orientation, semester registration, student record maintenance, admissions activities, technology coordination and graduation.
Taking a leadership role in all Access Weekends and acting as the direct point of contact for restaurants/catering, transportation and hotels.
Researching, identifying and confirming hotel, catering, and transportation options; managing the reservation process, contracts, and invoices to ensure costs are within budget.
Overseeing classroom space either on campus, in hotels or in rented classroom space; ensuring rooms meet space and set up needs.
Effectively identifying opportunities for cost-savings without diminishing student experience, while tracking and reporting all activity to the Executive Director.
Managing the event feedback process to include collecting, collating, and disseminating data after completion; using the data to make recommendations and incorporate improvements into future events.
Ordering program supplies to include student gifts, corporate visit gifts, technology support items, etc.; maintaining supply orders and faculty payments.
Working collaboratively and effectively with various departments to include student services, building operations, business operations, university purchasing and other departments as needed.

You should be able and willing to work outside of normal business hours as weekend work is required, as well as the ability to travel to other locations within the U.S.
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Minimum three years of related experience required; experience working with graduate students, event planning, and/or project management highly desired.
