1. Implements strategies for Public Relations efforts. 2. Contributes in developing and implementing public relations and information programs. 3. Translates technical language to produce communications which represent the University's best interest. 6. Decides on style, format, and tone of written piece. 7. Generates promotional material for wide variety of schools, departments, and programs. 8. May perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: Experience in communications in higher education (especially student-centered). Experience in internal communications, media relations, journalism, project management, graphic design, online information architecture or content strategy a plus. Previous experience working in international settings and/or in public relations, journalism, television, corporate communications or agency work a plus.
