This non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer I of Graphic Design within the School of Architecture will teach courses, hold office hours, grade papers and mentoring students.
Teach Graphic design courses ? one or more courses as needed.
Keep records, post grades (mid-term & final), submit attendance reporting, and mentor students.
Serve on Division, College and University committees
Other duties as assigned by Department Head.
Education and Experience:
Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design
Two (2) years of experience teaching at the college level
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in using current applications relevant to digital media including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and industry-standard software
Experience and/or exposure to Motion Graphics
