This Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for:
Researching, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining modules within clinical or financial applications supporting multiple departments in the hospital.
Providing analytical and technical guidance to clients.
Acting as a technical lead for large projects, responsible for all development planning and coding.
Mentoring and coaches more junior developers.
Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize work and lead team members effectively to ensure timely completion of individual tasks for the project / product.
To qualify, you must have:
7+ years Java JEE application development.
Hibernate (or another ORM tool) experience.
Experience working with Java JEE web application servers (JBoss AS7+ Preferred).
4+ years SQL Experience, (Oracle preferred).
Experience implementing Responsive web-based user interfaces using modern technology stacks (jQuery, AJAX, Angular, React, etc).
Experience in developing (server-side) and interacting with (client-side) both REST and SOAP style Web Services.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary IT teams, clinical staff and end users throughout the design and development process.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.7-10 years' experience or M.S. degree, 4-6 years of related experience.
Agile methodology experience.
JPA (Java Persistent API ) knowledge.
Spring MVC experience.
General Cerner experience/exposure helpful.
