Various lab administrative and research assistant responsibilities including coordinating child participant recruitment and data collection for studies of social cognitive development. Position will primarily include participant recruitment, assisting with testing children, and data coding.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assisting with testing study participants..
Assist with recruitment of child participants and maintaining database of families interested in participating in research with their children.
Communicate with the Institutional Review Board as necessary.
Assist with data organization, storage, and statistical analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Equivalent combination of education and experience equaling 4 years in a related field or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience equaling 2 years in related field or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience with digital cameras and computerized testing
Experience with Word, Excel, Adobe, Powerpoint/Keynote and related programs.
Experience with SPSS, R, or other statistical programs preffered but
Experience interacting with children preferred, but not required.
Basic computer skills (word processing, Excel).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including with children and parents.
Excellent organizational skills.
This position is part-time and works approximately 19 hours per week.

The hiring range for this position is $12.89 - $15.97 per hour.
