Working with the Office of Advancement Team, responsible for annual giving programs that engage and generate philanthropic support from alumni and parents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
With the Senior Director, Advancement Operations & Programs, plan and facilitate annual calendar of phone, mail and web solicitations that coordinate with Advancement programming and communications.
Manage the direct mail program for Annual Giving including scheduling, concept, design, content, segmentation, production and delivery.
Track and benchmark Annual Giving results and progress.
In collaboration with advancement staff, coordinate and/or execute e-philanthropy efforts including e-mail solicitations, text-to-give, social media, crowdfunding and electronic stewardship efforts. Share responsibility for maintaining fundraising pages on social media and the university website.
Manage Phonathon program, including but not limited to shift management, hiring and training student managers and calling staff, statistical performance analysis, caller incentives, segmentation, and pledge-entry/ pledge reminder processing. Supervise and motivate student Phonathon team in close partnership with student Phonathon managers.
Direct all fundraising and volunteer aspects of the Senior Challenge program, including, goal-setting, promotion and printed materials. Work in collaboration with the Office of Alumni/Parent Programs staff as they plan and execute events to support the Senior Challenge Campaign.
Coordinate Annual Giving volunteers, including recruiting and maintaining regular contact with volunteers and identifying opportunities for involvement that will support the annual giving program.
Work with the Advancement team to develop and manage "affinity fundraising programs" based on constituent interests and association with the University, including academic programs/disciplines/majors, athletics and service programs, i.e. Seahawks.
Manage a portfolio of alumni prospects as directed by the Senior Director, Advancement Operations & Programs.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other duties as required by the Senior Director of Annual Giving & Advancement Operations.
A Bachelor's degree and some fundraising or related experience required. Salve Regina University graduate strongly preferred. Familiarity and experience with phonathons and direct mail strongly recommended. Must have: ability to work collaboratively; excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail and strong organizational, technical and analytical skills; experience with project management, timelines and setting priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications is required, including all aspects of mail-merge functions. Experience with relational database programs and online constituent management systems like i-Modules or Sales Force preferred. Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends required. Valid driver's license required.
