1) Supports the development of innovative data sharing platforms for biomedical research through execution of industry-standard project management across engineering and scientific teams. Develops a deep understanding of the research objectives, data, and software capabilities.
2) Represents the Center by serving as the primary point of contact for project communications with clients, stakeholders, consortiums, team members, collaborators, sponsors, subcontractors, vendors, and other participants.
3) Ensures the appropriate approvals are in place for compliance, spanning numerous areas including but not limited to IT security, data governance, contractual requirements, NIH guidelines, federal acquisition regulations, etc.
4) Plans and facilitates various meetings and events to present technical matters to business, scientific, and engineering audiences hosted on-site, virtually, or attending off-site.
5) Reporting of project documentation across different mediums including but not limited to schedules, activities, risks, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, etc. Includes participating in manuscript preparation, grant proposal development, and other artifacts.

1) Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, biology, or another quantitative discipline.
2) PhD in biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
1) Minimum of four (4) years increasingly advanced experience on complex multi-institutional projects.
2) Minimum of three (3) years of client communications.
3) Experience leading a scientific research project.
4) Experience working on a cross-functional team.
5) Experience working on software development projects.
6) Experience working on a federally funded project.
