The Coordinator works on a team that supports an extracurricular ecosystem empowering students to create and define their campus culture.
What you'll do:
Student Services Delivery and Student Engagement Support
Provide primary coverage and presence for the Student Activities service center in Spangler Hall. In partnership with the Assistant Director, design to deliver high-level customer service and engagement to students and partners, connecting them to people, answers, and resources. Ensure smooth functioning of the service-delivery model.
Facilitate scheduling, coordinate access, program video display, and monitor utilization of the Student Engagement space in Spangler Hall. Contribute to the activation of the Spangler Lounge by conveniently positioning helpful and relevant services and resources to student audiences.
Prioritize high-quality in-person service delivery with student leaders (clubs, student government, partners) to foster mutually beneficial working relationships.
Budget Tracking, Systems Coordination, and Reporting
In partnership with the Director, develop, maintain, and distribute monthly/quarterly/annual reports to facilitate the timely and accurate tracking, forecasting, and projections for a combined $3M+ departmental budget.
Develop, maintain, and optimize tracking and reporting systems for deliverables relating to student organizations performance and compliance (club financial tracking, club accountability measures, Title IX, HU Policy on Minors, student travel, etc.)
Organize and analyze data collected by processes supporting the student activities ecosystem. Develop reports based upon data collected to better illustrate the student/student leader experience.
Event Coordination and Staffing
Coordinate the logistical elements of start-of-term kickoff events including: Partner Welcome Reception, Partner Case Night, and Fall Family Fling.
Provide in-person guidance and support to student organizations hosting MBA/School-wide priority events, including high-profile speakers.
Coordinate logistical and executional elements of event delivery, including day-of staffing.
Note: Applicants with less than 5 years of applicable experience will be considered at a grade 53 level. This is a 2 year term appointment with benefits.
