The Admissions Officer assists the Director of Admissions in all prospective student recruitment and retention efforts. The majority of daily work consists of creating and maintaining recruitment relationships with prospective domestic and international students through digital means (social networking, email, instant messaging, Twitter, Skype) as well as over the phone. Additional responsibilities include planning visits for and meeting with prospective students who travel to the School; helping to create in-house recruitment events; independently planning, implementing and following through on trips to various recruitment events, universities and colleges nationwide. The Admissions Officer also helps transition incoming students to the Schoolof Theology and Boston area, especially helping them secure decent, affordable housing.
Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree preferred. This is an entry level role with at least some work experience required.
