Exciting opportunity for a 4-5yr PQE Dispute Resolution/Litigation Solicitor to join the Contentious Matters team within the firm's Quality, Risk and Security community, on a 12/15 month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover, with a strong possibility of a permanent role within the firm at the end of the contract.
There are three core aspects to the role. First, managing complaints, claims, regulatory investigations, requests for evidence and other contentious risk situations, across all of our service lines (Audit & Assurance, Tax & Legal, Consulting, Financial Advisory and Risk Advisory). Second, providing legal and risk advice and due diligence on combinations, mergers and acquisitions undertaken by the firm, principally in the areas of contentious matters, quality and risk, and professional indemnity insurance, including liaison with the business and with lawyers in our in-house corporate legal team. Third, responding to ad-hoc risk, contracting and legal queries from partners and staff across the firm and inputting into learning and development to enhance quality across the firm. The role would include management of more junior team members, including trainees and paralegals. We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.
