Our Technology & Digital Risk team of 150 UK professionals across the UK. We support our clients manage risk by designing, implementing and assuring risk management processes and frameworks across technology and business functions. Within TRC, our Technology and Digital Risk team is expanding as we help our clients going through digital transformations understand, assess and manage the risks they face as they embed new technology and adopt different ways of working across their businesses. We are looking for a top performing Senior Consultant to join this dynamic and fast-growing team to help us meet the demand for our skillset in the market place, and build out our capability further. As a member of our Technology and Digital Risk team the types of work you will be involved in include:
Defining risk and control frameworks for the latest technologies
Designing end to end risk management processes across the end to end lifecycle
Designing and implementing target operating models for digital risk functions
Using your knowledge of challenges with current risk management methods to develop technology solutions leveraging the latest technologies to manage risk at speed and scale
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with our high-profile clients. There will also be the opportunity to engage with a broad set of individuals continually adapting, learning and developing as you work with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement risk management frameworks over cutting edge technology environments.
Delivering client engagements ranging from high-value advisory work through to large-scale execution of risk and control programmes, including managing delivery teams.
Delivering a portfolio of large & complex technology engagements across our business, leading and supporting junior resources;
Building your expertise across the North of England to develop genuine insight for our clients, and sharing this knowledge with the wider team.
Contributing to the development of innovative products and services that respond to market developments and the changing risk landscape.
Helping to develop new business with our existing clients and building relationships with new clients.

Your professional experience
Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, question the status quo and deliver effectively against challenging objectives
Knowledge of the latest technology trends, how these are being deployed and an appreciation of the risks they present
Practical experience of IT audit within a substantial organisation in any sector, equivalent in scale to a FTSE 350 company;
Experience and understanding of the risk management lifecycle, gained through either current role or ongoing interaction with 1st or 2nd line risk management teams
Strong technology and/or industry experience obtained via a career in industry or another consultancy
Experience of working in, or with, a Digital function, ideally on a change/transformation programme
Familiarity with agile ways of working and the tools that can be used to support this
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders across both IT and Risk functions
Experience of developing more junior staff, mentoring team members, and working effectively in diverse team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
