DUTIES: - Surgical Pathologist at University Hospital of Brooklyn SUNY Downstate Medical Center - Academic rank to be determined based upon credentials and experience - The department of pathology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY is seeking an academic surgical pathologist for full time employment. Strong anatomic pathology training and skills, with fellowship training in surgical pathology and in a specialty, service is preferred. - Responsibilities include surgical pathology, frozen section, autopsy, on-call service, mentoring and teaching of medical students and pathology residents. The successful candidate will have experience in medical and graduate medical education and evidence of scholarly achievement. - Participation in research with presentation of work at national meetings and publication in peer-reviewed journals is expected.
