Employee will serve as a member of the athletics department senior management team and will assist with overall administration of department functions, while understanding the mission, vision, core values, employee handbook and other school policies of Oxbridge Academy, ensuring the adherence of these policies in performance, action and self-conduct. We are seeking candidates with experience in high school and/or college athletics who can contribute to the distinctiveness of Oxbridge Academy’s culture of kindness that celebrates diversity. This position reports to the Director of Athletics.
Assist Director of Athletics in promoting the athletic department’s mission of providing a world-class experience for Oxbridge Academy student-athletes.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to community service outreach, FHSAA compliance, event management and student involvement.
Assist with social and digital media initiatives.
Use web-based resources such as Home Campus, MaxPreps, National Federation of State High Schools Association, Hudl, Twitter and ScoreStream.
Establish relationships with faculty members, students, coaches and parents and maintain a high level of interaction in order to promote extracurricular programs.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, physical education, sports administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to set goals and manage diverse projects.
Able to deal with frequent and multiple demands that require intensive mental focus and high adaptability.
The ability to work independently with confidence and also in a team setting.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, direction and support to student-athletes and coaches
Demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
