Vice Provost for Enrollment Management
The Vice Provost for Enrollment Management will report directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all the University of Cincinnati (UC) campuses and constituencies to promote student access, inclusion, success and excellence and to champion the recruitment, enrollment, transition, retention and graduation of a student body rich in talent and diversity. Areas that report to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management include:

The successful candidate will
Lead integrated strategic enrollment planning, recruitment management and operational execution;
Lead a high-performance culture that places students first and recognizes the commitment to university and external communities;
With key partners, execute the development of strategic enrollment goals for academic profile, net revenue, retention and student success, diversity, and approaches to student financial assistance, and create and execute an enrollment plan to achieve those goals;
Collaborate with key partners to develop a student success accountable culture
Provide oversight and leadership for the strategic management of the financial assistance programs;
Successfully identify and enroll a diverse and academically talented class of students in established and new markets;
Provide leadership, direction, research and planning in formulating recruitment strategies for target markets;
Commit to fostering a global perspective;
Make data-informed decisions for allocating staff and financial resources to achieve enrollment goals;
Collaborate with the University Communications office to develop successful recruitment strategies and messaging;
Lead and actively manage staff in the execution of goals by creating a supportive and collaborative environment for success and professional development.
Ten years senior management experience in successful enrollment programs, including but not limited to advising, marketing, data analytics, recruitment, yield and retention strategies
Master’s degree required
A demonstration of knowledge and application of best practices in enrollment management and advising, including but not limited to marketing, data analytics, recruitment, yield and retention strategies
Proven track record in building strong relationships with internal and external constituencies
Previous successful supervision of a large and diverse team
Extensive knowledge of data bases and reporting software
Demonstration of creativity and innovation in strategic planning and problem solving and an understanding of integrated marketing and its impact on enrollment
Demonstrated effective management of department resources (budget, personnel, space, etc.)
A high level of collaboration and teamwork with effective communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to collaborate with a wide cross-section of senior administrators, faculty, staff, alumni and students
