The COMP Performance Group is looking for a passionate and highly driven individual to manage daily work flow on projects and initiatives within our Product Development team. The team creates new products and improves existing products for a number of automotive aftermarket performance brands, within the COMP Performance Group. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, the Product Development Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for organizing and executing projects for an innovative and creative team of Product Development Engineers and Technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, being able to understand the team's needs and bringing together resources to drive projects to completion. We’re looking for an individual who can wear many hats, possesses a results-oriented mindset and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work on the details.
Duties & Responsibilities
Must effectively organize multiple team projects, helping to prioritize daily work-flow and monitoring employee performance to maximize efficiency of operations.
Help to implement and maintain work-flow for the department by anticipating and investigating project delays and taking corrective action.
Ensure all workflow is tracked within the department’s project management software.
Communicate plans and goals to staff. Work with a hands-on attitude, ensuring the goals of the Product Development group are met.

Must be very well organized and capable of running multiple tasks at the same time.
Must be a team leader with good people skills, who can communicate effectively and with authority.
Demonstrate a high degree of efficiency, organization and motivation in work habits and professional image.
Ability to schedule and prioritize team tasks to promote the efficient use of time and monitor progress against project schedules.
A strong commitment to honesty, trustworthiness and ethical leadership.
Interest in automobiles and/or motorsports strongly preferred.
Education & Experience
Four Year Degree in Engineering, Business or Management related discipline preferred.
Prefer a minimum 3-5 years Supervisory experience in a similar, fast-paced, results driven environment.
Ideal candidate will have experience in an automotive or transportation related field, with knowledge of automotive racing components a plus, but not required.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Requires full time work week spent in the office. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
