This position provides comprehensive administrative support for the Chair of the Department of Neurological Sciences, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment. This position is responsible for administrative assistance in the planning, organizing, administering and monitoring of the day-to-day administrative operational activities/office services, financial assistance and project management requirements of the department. Primary responsibilities of this position is to the Chair of the Department.
This position demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, writing skills, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying departmental management structure and of the larger institution in organizing and independently prioritizing work. This position establishes procedures and systems and ensures the orderly and timely administrative operational flow through the office.
