Under the general supervision of the Director of Marketing and in close coordination with other Strategic Communications & Public Affairs staff, the Traffic & Project Manager coordinates all activities and serves as the operational advisor to a cross-functional team in order to accomplish program objectives including timely achievement of project milestones in preparation for the launch of the philanthropic campaign. The Traffic & Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects and initiatives within the complex Strategic Communications & Public Affairs' department. Sets deadlines, monitors project statuses, summarizes progress of projects and prepares reports for upper management.The successful candidate will work directly with internal and external clients and agencies to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with goals and strategic initiatives.The successful candidate will build project schedules, incorporating detailed tasks with start and end dates, resources required to complete tasks, and dependencies. The project schedule should illustrate the overall timeline, milestones, and critical path. Managing and prioritizing multiple small, medium and large projects effectively is part of the daily routine.
