This is a greenfield opportunity to establish and build the Sionic presence in Luxembourg including by leveraging the PE/RE fund admin expertise that has been built up via the Jersey office over the past c.15 years. By supplementing the existing experience and knowledge then drawing on your knowledge and experience of PE/RE fund administrators you will provide actionable advisory consulting services across operational model, system selection and operational efficiency for existing clients with the additional opportunity for you to provide delivery consulting services to implement the results of the advice. To include:
Deepen Sionic's understanding of the Luxembourg market
Engage as a senior Advisory Consultant with major clients in Luxembourg and related jurisdictions
Establish the Lux office and associated facilities
Hire further advisory consultants
Hire an implementation/delivery team working in collaboration with our established world class experts in Jersey
Lead multiple assignments that deliver outstanding client work
Provision of advisory services relating to systems, process' and operating model design
Presentation of issues, challenges, solutions, next stages etc
Development and maintenance of close, collaborative sponsor and client relationships, introducing opportunities where Sionic can provide value and services to clients.
Building close, collaborative, relationships with Sionic colleagues and involving them in shaping and delivering differentiated solutions
Provide insights into the market for Sionic services
Support marketing and pre-sales activities through contributing to IP and propositions in response to potential client and/or sector challenges and issues and producing authoritative white papers
Proactively maintain a client network and reinforce effective business development activities for all employees
Identify and cultivate new strategic relationships.
Lead pitch meetings and pre-sales meetings
Guide account planning for existing relationships
Managing and developing junior colleagues to produce a strong cohesive team of consultants and create followership
Deals with diverse and complex client situations with many unknowns requiring creative and innovative thinking, commercial judgement and the development of new approaches.
Resolves issues successfully with clients where needed, extensive management/specialist experience and a concern for the commercial impact on the organisation.

Skills and Experience required:
Degree level qualifications or equivalent plus further academic success.
Consulting and line management experience in a financial services organisation
Operational experience of PE/RE fund admin processes (assets classes, structures, commitments, drawdowns, cashflows, equalisations, valuations, waterfall distributions, bookkeeping, accounting, reporting, et al)
Considerable familiarisation with functionality of PE/RE systems (especially the market-dominating eFront, Investran systems)
Appreciation of the range of PE/RE operating models (across LPs, GPs, administrators, jurisdictions, geographies, cross-over/impact of other asset classes (eg hedge) or other financial services (eg corporate, private client, family office), etc)
Strong background in consulting and advisory projects
Appreciation of the associated infrastructure/surround technologies (pricing/forex sources, banking, consolidation solutions, reconciliation solutions, reporting solutions, portals, et al)
Appreciation of the wider fund admin market landscape (by jurisdiction, market segment, size, specialisms, reputations, history, etc)
