The Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining an alphabetic cluster of MSPE’s (approximately 300), processing MSPE’s and transcript requests for students/graduates, corresponding with students/graduates to answer questions and resolve issues, and working with the rest of the MSPE team to refine and enhance the MSPE composition process. The MSPE is an essential, required tool for our students/graduates to obtain residency and fellowship positions.
Compose, edit, and process MSPE’s and transcripts for students and graduates.
Communicate via email and phone with students, graduates, and University Support Services (USS) staff.
Research, investigate, and verify student grades and other data.
Maintain MSPE digital and hard copy files.
Prepare and send unofficial MSPE’s to students.
Coordinate transcript issuance with Registrar and Student Finance departments.
Interact with the rest of the Clinical Dept, Registrar, and Office of Career Guidance, as well as other departments throughout residency application, Match, and post-Match processes.
Work with the MSPE Team to refine and enhance the process.
Participate in annual Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) web-based information sessions.

Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with high volume correspondence and customer service preferred.
Knowledge of Banner database management software (or equivalent) helpful.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
This job is performed in a 6-station workspace within a larger office environment.
This is a collaborative, creative, collegial, and supportive work environment.
Hours and Travel
A typical work week is Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Weekend work may be required as needed.
Overtime may be needed during peak periods of our work cycle; notably late summer and early fall.
