Christiana Care Health System's IT department is currently looking for a Information Security Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will prepare justifications and business cases for recommendations on Information Security initiatives. As the ideal Senior Information Security Project Manager, you will have a technical understanding of network security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, security logging , risk and incident management as it relates to information security in addition to overall information security best practices.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Technical background and experience with boundary and end-point protection services such as Intrusion prevention and Firewalls, both network and host based, Anti-virus, email security, and Web application security and other industry standard information security tools.
Identifies plans and conducts evaluation of information and network related needs and recommends the project management approach for the project or program.
Resource should have significant experience managing technical programs specifically information security based programs which cover 12 or more projects / functions in a large IT enterprise
Develops and obtains approval of artifacts and activities as required in the PMO Project Management Methodology based on the size, priority, complexity, and risk of the project.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; uses computer based training and actively leads and /or participates in Christiana Care PM Community discussions.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting accountability for delivery of assigned projects with quality; and by exhibiting Christiana behaviors that exemplify the Values of Love and Excellence.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelors degree or commensurate experience in a discipline related to the assigned area. Master's degree is preferred.
Five to Eight years of combined project management, data processing and system analysis experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
