Job Purpose: The Securities Services Client Implementation function is hiring a Senior People & Process Manager to manage and lead a growing team of dedicated onboarding specialists and to have day-to-day management responsibilities for the client-facing service team for the Custody account opening, maintenance and closures team.
Regional stakeholder management, across business, operations and technology partners
Regional pipeline management for the Custody account opening, maintenance and closures execution processes
Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of all account opening functions and issue resolution.
Performs day to day management of the account opening, maintenance and closures processing, including daily management of in-process, pended, and service related activities, ensuring account opening requirements are clearly defined to support all scenarios of account opening, maintenance and closure requirements, to include delivery of very high quality service to customers and internal partners.
Responsible for various types of project management in the account services space, and assisting with the implementation of strategic transformation and re-engineering projects
Supports the planning and hire of right set of people, train, guide, coach, develop and appraise and reward people based on meritocracy.
Supports the motivation of staff through constant interaction with the team.
Understands client requirements and implements them correctly.
Contributes to innovative solutioning to client issues.
Maintains a strong culture of risk and controls in the team through various processes and check points.
Develops performance matrices to track defects, productivity.
Efficiently and effectively manages new projects and ensures smooth cutover with minimized risks.
Manages subordinate supervisors and project staff.
Maintains appropriate staffing /hiring requirements to meet operational needs.
Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc
5+ years' experience in Financial Services
People and process manager with the ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
Strong people, process and business focus
Experience of working in a process-driven environment
Experience of interacting at senior levels and ensuring credibility is maintained through solid delivery against commitments
Experience of a financial services environment
Experience of working in a controls-focused environment
Proven experience delivering tangible results in an Operations focused environment
Proven experience of motivating, nurturing and developing talent
