The Global Technology Strategic Programs team is responsible for advancing GT transformation strategy through management of GT strategic programs portfolio, continuous calibration against changing priorities and matching demand for transformation with the capacity of the organisation.
The Program Coordination Lead will be responsible for executing the approach and direction for the Planning and Initiation function within the Global Technology strategic program office. The P & I Lead will be responsible for key strategic programs alignment to the direction set by the GT Program Manager. They will also be accountable for providing key artefacts and coordinating insight from testing, architecture and controls functions that will aide successful delivery of the strategy.
The candidate will have a proven multi-year track record in a program management role across business and technology and experience performing in a global environment will be a distinct advantage.
Data collection ensuring quality evidence across workstreams that allows analysis leading to the formulation of a consistent scalable roadmap
Assess the governance and control mechanisms in place, delivery structures, operating models, capacity, and cross CTO impact of key risks and dependencies
Identification and escalation of thematic risks and issues across streams, socialising innovative best practices identified and implemented through the life cycle of the program
Track progress against agreed delivery steps to ensure alignment to Global Technology and LOB strategy
Significant milestone monitoring and reporting, providing consolidated and value-add metrics
Manage communication and relationships between inter-connected stakeholders
Partner with and influence a wide range of key stakeholders and quickly win the trust of groups across the portfolio
Provision of coaching and support to more junior members of the team
Developed mind-set for risk and control compliance across departmental and firm wide standards, Global Technology standards for financial control and budget management and has executed within a client centric environment for both teams and contributors
Steeped in the J.P. Morgan values with a meticulous attention to detail. An effective challenger on matters of service standards, integrity and How We Do Business
Metrics management, Data Synthesis and business analysis experience required
Experience of technology and project management office within global financial institutions
Experience in working with teams across multiple regions and countries, enabling a 'one team' culture and a positive working environment, respecting the cultures and capabilities across locations
Experience and proven track record in stakeholder management, partnership and program governance
Proven history of governing technology solutions to meet aggressive and ambitious business agendas with the appropriate quality, timeliness, stability, cost effectiveness, sustainability, and client centric focus
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
Bachelor's degree required
Program Management experience and qualifications desirable
