The Senior Project Manager serves OHSU\u2019s School of Medicine Dean\u2019s Office by consulting, coaching, facilitating or providing leadership for a range of critical, multi-dimensional initiatives. The Senior Project Manager will be required to display initiative and be productive with little supervision while also communicating effectively with leadership about project status.
Projects are typically within the School of Medicine\u2019s purview but may cross missions into the health care or research areas. Project types include a broad array of administrative, operational, or clinical capacities with an emphasis on business process redesign and optimization.
Projects typically require a high level of skill in process analysis, financial analysis, improvement science and change management principles. While the Senior Project Manager does not supervise others, the successful candidate provides leadership and guidance through informal authority established by their expertise, communication skills and demonstrated capability.
