The Senior Marketing Coordinator assists in the implementation of strategies that promote the strategic marketing initiatives for Northwestern Engineering. The position manages day-to-day implementation of advertising programs for graduate education at Northwestern Engineering, working with outside agencies and internal team members to ensure quality and accuracy. The senior marketing coordinator works to maintain data integrity in the customer relationship management software, tracks and provides reporting for multiple concurrent marketing campaigns, and provides project management support for the department.
Manages day to day execution of marketing strategies and plans, including coordinating with outside agencies and tracking. Creates digital and print collateral, working with department chairs, program directors, and others to gather approvals.
Implements digital marketing initiatives within CRM and automation platforms to ensure regular communication with key audiences. Monitors data integrity to ensure proper efficiency and accuracy.
Collects and analyzes data related to marketing campaigns. Assists in identifying the appropriate channels and helps adapt campaigns to the appropriate target audience. Tracks performance of various initiatives and implements changes to improve goals and objectives. Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace to best serve the objectives of the department and adjusts plans accordingly.
Tracks the usage of marketing budgets and ensures that campaigns are delivered within their budget goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's in Marketing or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
1-2 years of marketing and/or communications work experience.
