Executive Director Network Development Market - Planning & Developing - Orlando
AdventHealth Orlando seeks to hire a Executive Director Network Development Market who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year.
8am-5pm / M-F
Oversees the development of strategic market/network penetration and saturation plans to ensure future viability of AdventHealth, Central Florida Division. Ensures appropriate placement and deployment of products/ services and network assets through a collaborative planning process across all campuses and service lines, coordinated at a Senior Vice President/ CEO level. Oversees Business/ Network Development team of Directors in development of new business opportunities within AdventHealth. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (Preferred)
Six (6) years of experience in healthcare, business development, or project management
Four (4) years of management/supervisory experience
Minimum of ten (10) years in leadership experience (Preferred)
Minimum of ten (10) years in industry experience (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Identify and quantify strategic market opportunities, threats and trends with an ability to position organization for the future by looking beyond the present state to conceptualize key trends and identify changing market demands. Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff. Develops and maintains annual budgets for the organization and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses. Maintains positive relations acting as liaison to ensure collaboration across multiple disciplines. Exercises independent decision-making processes to identify, plan, and execute goals. Develops network footprint within local markets to include placement of AdventHealth products, services and asset placement. Responsible for development of strategic plans with Senior Vice Presidents/ CEO's. Leads associated planning of space planning, asset consolidation, network integrity (shifting between business units), and service line launching and growth. Develops long-range plans for strategic business growth. Informs financial and operational priorities. Leads Directors of Market/ Business Development
COMPLIANCE/REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible to ensure department operates in compliant manner, particularly as it relates to our relationships with physicians. Stays informed of regulatory changes. Seeks guidance from legal or compliance teams as appropriate.
OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGET/FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Indirect responsibilities to support financial performance to budget for the Business Development cost center. Manages the department in a fiscally responsible way.
STRATEGIC PLANNING RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for maintaining innovative thinking related to market development. Ensures AdventHealth service offerings are relevant, enhance the consumer and provider experience, and differentiators in the market. Maintains deep and current knowledge of competitive activity. Ensures strategies are in alignment with AdventHealth CFD's One Plan.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Ensure efficient and timely execution of our partnership plans.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITY: Represents the AdventHealth mission and brand. Is an active member in their community. Serves as an extension of the Executive Office
STAFFING/LABOR/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Oversees the recruitment, hiring, training and engagement of directors and managers, ensuring the development of employee competencies that ensure quality care and optimum outcomes. Promotes managers' leadership development through coaching and facilitating attendance to leadership development courses.
