CITI Trade Industry Lead - TMT Competitive Salary Offered
Working jointly with Sales colleagues to lead the Trade client engagement for a portfolio of clients across an industry segment
Develop high performing team focused on delivering best trade solutions for clients
Development of the market management infrastructure, organisation, process and procedures
Lead Trade initiatives across specific industry segments
Drive Trade revenue growth across an industry segment.
Lead team of trade specialists to delivery of Industry P and Ls, and KPIs set by management;
Lead deep engagement with their counterparts in Corporate Banking to come up with, execute and monitor an account plan and to formulate client solutions;
Trade team members so that, over a period of time, these individuals are capable of originating / executing Trade opportunities across all Trade products (to this end, Industry Team Leads will be expected to develop detailed IDPs for each member of their teams);
work closely with Trade Sales, Country/Cluster teams to ensure the seamless delivery of Trade products and refer opportunities to them which do not fall in the remit of MM activities.
As this is part of a new organisational construct, the industry leads will be responsible for working with the market management head to build the new organisation, form the respective teams, work with teams to ensure clarity around roles and to develop the processes and procedures.
Provide strong people management developing our people
Integrate the team and identify training needs and develop strong support model within the team
Lead and support team's engagement in the structuring of transactions/solutions and winning new mandates
Optimise capacity plan and resource allocation against the industry portfolio
Drive P and L, Balance Sheet and Returns for industry portfolio
Identify emerging industry needs and work closely with product partners to feedback product development needs/gaps
Work closely with Sales to agree Account plans, work on deal structuring and developing a cohesive origination model for Trade
Develop skills for assessing major business drivers and implication for business
Develop people management skills
Develop skills on market intelligence and application to business decisions
Develop client management skills
Gain experience in managing organisational change for success
Graduate / Postgraduate qualification preferable
Extensive years with experience in Credit or Trade Products
Extensive years of experience in deal execution and client management
Demonstrated track record of building teams with range of experiences
Experience of business development, building and maintaining key relationships
Developing marketing strategies to sell the Bank's relevant products
Track record in designing and implementing new processes and procedures for credit products
Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills
Track record in developing our people
Innovative and creative
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver against tight deadlines
Self-motivated and Comfortable working in unstructured environment
Ability to develop strategy and carry through to execution
Quick to adapt to constant change
