The CB Product Solutions Team is looking for a dynamicindividual to join as a pricing manager for APAC. The job holder sits in Singapore and is partof the US based CB TS Revenue Management team. The individual will support the development and execution of pricingstrategies for CB APAC. He/she will be responsible to extend the existingpricing frameworks in US/EMEA to APAC, adapting them as appropriate for localnorms and regulations while preserving what is essential for consistency orscale. At the same time, harness the best practices from how pricing works inregion and apply them to the domestic practices. The successful applicant will be an energeticindividual with the capability of managing multiple projects and developingstrong working partnerships across both Commercial Banking & CIB functionalareas.
Working closely with CB APACcoverage teams, CB APAC Product Managers and CIB billing organizations tocomplete end to end reviews of the CB APAC pricing processes. Identify, document and present anygaps/issues or process improvement suggestions.
Manage and execute the CB Repricingproject across 14 countries in APAC, working closely with EMEA pricing managerand CIB billing operations. Reviewcurrent price lists in the countries and institute new two tiered pricing todifferentiate different CB segments.
Working closely with EMEA pricingmanager to help drive consistency and discipline to how global deals arepriced, within and across regions including developing CB APAC marginguidelines / price benchmarks for key service codes.
Working closely with APAC BusinessOperations team to review and improve current pricing/billing process and implementthe agreed process improvement changes identified. Deliver training to both the regional teamsand US Based Commercial Bank teams ensuring that all front office staffunderstand and are following the newly improved processes.
Using the pricing tools available to analyse and identify pricing anomalies across all Commercial client segments and proactively work with the front office coverage teams to ensure clients are priced consistently across regions. Drive strategic process improve ments and identify revenue leakage and operating risk opportunities.
Through detailed analysis and investigation identify tangible revenue opportunities within the APAC region executing within the scope of the global annual TS re-pricing event.
Review existing policies, process and procedures to identify best practices, implement improvements, and identify potential technology enhancements. Provide insight and training to Sales, Service, Product and Implementation partners on recommended changes.
Manage other pricing related projects as required.
At least 5-7 years of experience ina finance, product, operations or service role in the financial industry.
Good understanding of varioustreasury services products in APAC. Understanding of TS pricing and billing strongly preferred.
Project management experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues.
An organized individual with strongattention to detail.
Strong PC skills - Excel, SharePoint, Pitch Pro, Qlikview & Power point.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders. Ability to resolve conflict & facilitate decision-making.
Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines.
