Rider University invites applications for a Director of International Admissions who will be part of the enrollment management team and is responsible for the development and implementation of a strategic international enrollment management plan. The successful candidate will also have daily oversight of all operational level business processes related to international recruitment and admissions at the undergraduate and graduate level, including but not limited to: recruitment, prospect management, application processing, evaluation of foreign academic credentials, admissions decisions, immigration advising, English language proficiency, and effective use of information systems and technology.

Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, along with 5-7 years’ experience in International Admissions/Enrollment Management. A Master’s degree is preferred. Individual must also have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must have a passport and valid driver’s license. Foreign language usage encouraged.
Individual must also possess: management experience in higher education and established international recruitment contacts; proven experience building international enrollment; demonstrated knowledge of best practices in the field of international admissions; project management experience in using/creating data to generate reports for research analysis and evaluation in an educational setting; experience interpreting and applying immigration-related laws, regulations, and procedures; experience working with International agreements, including International Organizations and University partners; experience with university procedures related to international recruitment, admissions, and retention; experience with ESL programs and their interface with international recruitment and admissions; experience completing foreign academic credential evaluations; experience with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and the interface of ISSS with international recruitment & admissions; experience facilitating meetings and presentations for administrators, faculty & staff; demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, etc.); outstanding written communication skills; and demonstrated proficiency in the use of student information systems (i.e. HRMS, Banner).
