In this role, the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator serves as the first phone/email contact for prospective students and applicants to the School of Public Healthâ™s graduate programs. The position will support the schoolâ™s graduate recruitment plan through various outreach efforts, including the scheduling, marketing, and hosting of on-campus and virtual information sessions, coordination of the Student and Alumni Ambassador programs, and the development of a formal visit program. The Coordinator will provide administrative support for the application review processes of graduate applications in partnership with the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach, graduate program directors and program administrators. The Coordinator will also help to implement and maintain a customer relationship management program to support outreach efforts and to inform data-driven process. This role requires a positive attitude, student-centered outlook, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree and 1-3 years of directly related experience; college admissions or student ambassador experience preferred.
Exceptional planning and marketing skills with attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational, project, and process management skills; accuracy and follow through; ability to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple projects.
Understanding of diverse audiences and ability to communicate with creativity, simplicity and clarity.
Collaborative work style, strong team player; open-mindedness, inclusiveness and flexibility; ability to work and build collaborations with diverse communities; value individual diversity and identity in many different forms.
Customer service orientation and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Experience designing and editing print and digital communications (e.g. Canva) and working with a CRM preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint); Google applications (Gmail, Hangout, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms)
Ability to work occasional evening and weekend events and programs.

This part-time position is 25 hours per week.
