The Compliance Strategy Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day management of Coniferï¿½s Vendor Compliance Oversight program as well as department communications and training initiatives.The Compliance Strategy Specialist will be responsible for reviewing key vendor oversight and training metrics to identify and escalate key trends to help reduce Coniferï¿½s compliance risks.The Compliance Strategy Specialist will also support the Compliance Strategy Manager in managing Coniferï¿½s Regulatory Change Management program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Vendor Compliance Oversight
Administers the vendor compliance survey;
Administers the risk rating process for all vendors;
Utilizes appropriate technology to enhance tracking/reporting for all Vendor Compliance Oversight Program activities;
Monitors vendor compliance including all CAPs;
Formulates routine and non-routine Vendor Compliance Oversight Program reporting capabilities including vendor dashboards for organizational leadership;
Assists with the review and validation of Exclusion screening checks; ensures necessary monthly audit reports are received from the Exclusion screening vendor;
Supports vendor audits/reviews and assists in the reporting of findings to leadership including tracking of formalized CAPs and adjustments to vendor risk rating;
Supports the development and maintenance of Coniferï¿½s vendor compliance training program.
Regulatory Change Management
Supports the Compliance Strategy Manager in day-to-day management of Coniferï¿½s Regulatory Change Management program by:
Utilizing appropriate technology to maintain and enhance appropriate tracking of all Regulatory Change Management program activities;
Monitoring program compliance expectations and utilizing judgement to escalate issues when necessary;
Formulating routine and non-routine Regulatory Change Management program reporting capabilities including dashboards for organizational leadership; and
Developing communication protocols to ensure appropriate parties are aware of critical changes to regulations.
In conjunction with the Training & Development team and Ethics and Compliance Subject Matter Experts, coordinates Ethics and Compliance training initiatives.
Develops and maintains an Ethics and Compliance training calendar.
Routinely monitors and reports organizational training completion to Senior Compliance Leadership Team, Human Resources, and organizational leadership.
Coordinates with the Ethics and Compliance Leadership team to ensure timely and effective communication from the department.
Ensures that the Ethics and Compliance department branding is consistently and appropriately reflected in all communications.

Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle industries preferred
Knowledge of, and experience with, project management methodology a plus
Strong business intelligence and analytical skills

Have the ability to make logical correlations between data points to determine if analysis is accurate
Detail oriented, meticulous and accurate in completing tasks on time.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
Required:Bachelorï¿½s Degree in related field from an accredited college or university
3-5 years of experience in healthcare management, regulatory affairs
Preferred:Concentration in health care administration, compliance, or other related field
Include minimum certification required to perform the job.
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is preferred
