This private equity firm seeks a further associate to join the team. The business has been established for circa 20 years and specialises in making partnership style investments in privately owned businesses. The business is owned by its managing directors, has a flexible approach both in relation to timeframe of investing and ownership structures and they typically take a conservative attitude towards debt, avoiding heavily geared businesses.
Consulting with investee companies in the development of objectives, strategies and plans
Developing and reviewing processes to optimise portfolio shareholder value
Supporting both internal and external business development efforts by contributing to client meetings, presentations, project management etc.
Reviewing agreements and documentation relating to investment opportunities
Reviewing all aspects of transaction execution including: financial modelling, industry analysis, due diligence and legal documentation
Qualified professional with 2-4 years of relevant work and industry experience
Top academic credentials in law, business administration and/or finance
Self-motivated and proactive individual with strong desire to learn and succeed
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills to manage multiple projects in parallel
Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties
Fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
