Description: Citi is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Corporate Bank's Public Sector Group within Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory (BCMA). The Senior Analyst works together supporting multiple senior Public Sector Bankers officers and professionals, participating in particular client transactions, projects or assignments. The role is client facing and the Senior Analyst will be assigned to specific accounts as a critical member of the team. Primary activities will be driving client satisfaction, problem solving, working closely with TTS, Investor Services and Markets product teams and identifying new opportunities. Responsible for organizing and analyzing market sizing and share of wallet information, responding to client solicitations (RFI's and RFP's), supporting the development of detailed client proposals, marketing materials, strategic plans, prepares written recommendations, creates statistical exhibits, conducts economic/financial research and provides evaluations of a company's financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends or data.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of interest in transaction banking, particularly innovations in the payment space and have the ability to understand new technologies around Digital Ledgers, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning and the impacts they are having on the payments industry.
Education Required Bachelor-level degree with concentrated coursework in Finance, Economics and/or closely related areas.
Skills Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong planning and organizational skills are required. Sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business. Theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge is required, including a sound understanding of the Corporate Banking business and its related products and pertinent regulations affecting it.
