Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) seeks a Vendor Coordinator at Memorial Hospital (1275 York Ave) in Manhattans Upper East Side. MSK is seeking to hire a Vendor Coordinator to join our outstanding team as a liaison between external vendors who MSK collaborates with. This integral role will partner with Rehabilitation Services, Respiratory Therapy, and Case Management for D urable medical Equipment (DME) purposes. We are looking for an individual passionate about teamwork focused on providing excellent patient-centered experiences.
You will: Function as a primary hospital liaison for internal and external customers and maintain oversight of all vendor-based contingents and contracts related to the management of Durable Medical Equipment supplies (DME). Facilitate DME processes and problem-solve any issues in conjunction with the DME Vendor, patient/family, and hospital staff. Monitor hospital performance (as per Joint Commission and other federal standards) and compliance with DME processes, educate hospital staff about DME updates, and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to assess workflows and performance improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current DME products and services offered for inpatient and outpatient necessities. Provide project management support for DME related projects, as needed.

You need: A High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of customer service experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities. A high degree of professionalism. The ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines. Demonstrated project management skills.
Hours vary between 8a to 6p, Monday - Friday (subject to change).
