This role is a multi-faceted position within the Credit Administration team requiring the ability to understand, partner, and orchestrate multiple aspects of the business. This role will work closely with the Head and VP of Credit Development and Infrastructure. Role will be split between assisting with strategic credit projects and general credit overflow activities. A successful candidate will help Credit Administration design and implement solutions to drive scalability and efficiency across the organization. Role will be dynamic and enable the successful candidate to learn the inner workings of credit, project management, process design, strategic planning, risk controls and executive interactions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with all levels of the credit team and develop/hone presentation and project management skills. Strong communication, collaboration, organizational skills required.
Assist members of Credit Administration across the organization with all stages of credit initiatives
Collaborate with business units and functions across the organization to drive forward and implement credit initiatives
Develop presentations and assist in delivery to senior management across the organization
Develop training materials and assist in delivery to ensure effective training sessions
Provide real time support to the Credit Administration team as needed on overflow work with a wide set of responsibilities and tasks
Evaluate resources available to drive efficiency and collaboration in Credit Administration
Strategize with Head and VP of Credit Development and Infrastructure on various initiatives as well as long term strategy of the Credit Administration team
Independent judgment and confidence to escalate issues and opportunities within projects and processes
May recommend concepts for improvements of efficiencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including moderate to advanced PowerPoint skills and moderate Excel skills
1+ year of banking experience
A general knowledge of the financial services industry
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with willingness to communication with senior management across the organization
Project management experience skills preferred
Strong communication skills interfacing with business and technical leadership
Ability to multitask
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Education and Experience:
1+ Years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree helpful
Experience in the financial services, consulting or other related business.
