Vice President, Strategy and Business Development
As a direct report to our CEO, you will lead strategy and business development to strengthen our competitive position and drive growth over the long term.
Oversee strategic planning, competitive intelligence, strategic partnerships, growth and development, marketing and corporate communications.
Work with the management team in developing long-term strategic themes and identifying related new business opportunities, including new business models, service distribution, acquisitions, strategic alliances and investments.
Translate data into strategy to impact outcomes and service, deliver against operational improvements/efficiencies, and use analytics to identify future growth opportunities.
Foster a climate where people are motivated to be their best, and build strong teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
The tenacious, proven leader and strategic thinker we seek has these qualifications.
At least 8 years of experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, strategic planning, business development, portfolio management functions or related experience within healthcare
Master's degree or MD; MHA/MBA preferred
Detailed understanding of health care industry trends, including payment models, care delivery settings, value-based care, consumer demands, new market entrants, partnership structures, M&A and deal-making
Demonstrated experience in deal sourcing, relationship cultivation, due diligence, modeling, negotiating and closing, and integration management
Superior quantitative, analytic and financial-modeling skills
Roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and project-management capabilities
At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role in integrated healthcare system or environment preferred
