Rutgers University-Newark, an urban, public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Research Project Coordinator II for the Office of Career Management (OCM) of the Rutgers Business School (RBS). The Research Coordinator II reports to the Senior Director RBS Office of Career Management. The Research Project Coordinator II will develop the data capture, retention and reporting for all requests from approved rankings organizations, based on the data collected by the individual teams through their approved processes. The position will work with numerous teams to identify data that is captured to enable analysis and external and internal reporting. Each Office of Career Management team has different methodologies for capturing outcome data and this position will need to interface with these multiple systems and organizations to support the reporting requirements. The duties of the Research Project Coordinator II includes but not limited to; -Assist with the creation and collection of survey data on Employment Outcome, student feedback and program initiatives. -Develops employer profiles to identify and record employer engagement at RBS and RU. -Develops insights based on external information to enable targeted improvement of OCM outcomes. -Databases may need to be developed and maintained to ensure data is properly stored and history maintained. Database structure and reporting tools will need to be understood. -Develops databases to support information needs of OCM and RBS management on Career Management information concerning student and employer engagement activities. -KPI reporting of OCM results and activities based on data from existing systems will need to be developed and produced. -Occasional travel to Rutgers campuses is required. Minimum Education and Experience:
-A bachelor’s degree in business analytics, statistics or similar education with demonstrable knowledge in database systems, structure and reporting tools. -Experience in database management and reporting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Project management presentation, interpersonal and communication skills required. -Ability to work in teams and driven by innovation and results. -Knowledge of organizational reporting standards and guidelines to ensure RBS meets the requirements.
-Master's degree preferred. -Advanced knowledge of Database systems, structure and reporting tools. Microsoft, Excel, and PowerPoint.
